FR3 Compatibility Matrix
To ensure safe and performance verified operation of your FR3, it is essential that your hardware and software versions are aligned. This guide helps you verify compatibility between the Control, Arm, System Image and your development environment.
Where to find and how to interpret information
The hardware versions of your Control and Arm can be found on the Type Label, a physical sticker located on the back of the Control box and the base of the Arm. It includes essential details such as the component name, serial number, production date and version.
To identify your current System Image, connect your laptop to the Arm, enter the URL robot.franka.de to access the Franka UI web interface of the robot, and go to Settings > Dashboard.
Once you have identified your hardware and software versions, consult the compatibility matrices below, and use the following color-coded legend to interpret the status of your hardware and software combinations.
