The I.AM. H2020 Project is a highlight in our industry-driven research. Since January 2020 a team of top-notch specialists from leading robotics universities (incl. Eindhoven University of Technology, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, MSRM Technische Universität München, Vanderlande, Smart Robotics, and Algoryx Simulation) have been working together with the common goal of moving industry robotics from "pick and place" applications to "grab and toss" - developing impact-aware robot manipulation. The project has great potential in helping bring logistics – a new area of application for robotics – to a new level of automation and speed.
